Diamond crown design ring that makes use of the shape of Grandidierite
Grandidierite has been gaining popularity since around 2017.
The blue color that this gem possesses is different from the sapphire and tanzanite, and also from the Paraiba tourmaline, is a greenish blue color that is more appropriate than blue.
The Grandidierite used in this ring is owned by the customer.
"I would like to use Grandidierite to make a ring."
It all started with a message from LINE.
From a LINE message saying that I want to use diamonds
The most important thing in design is "brightness"! I had a flash of excitement.
This gem called Grandidierite has the characteristic of birefringence.
Birefringence has the effect of double-looking, known as "doubling," so when you look at a gem, the reflection of light appears to be spread like a kaleidoscope.
Incidentally, in addition to Grandidierite, zircon and spheen are famous gemstones that can exhibit doubling effects.
When you come to this doubling effect and diamonds, the classic design will be to make the most of your brilliance! That's what I thought.
So I proposed this design.
Taking advantage of the pear shape, we have put together a melee diamond halfway around it, and connected the diamond to the arm of the ring (where the fingers are passed through) to create a neat and neat look.
When surrounding the main gem with diamonds, many designs use diamonds all round and round, but this will give you a more formal feel.
We exchanged this customer on LINE throughout the entire time, so we didn't meet in person, but I felt that he was probably young, and since he worked full-time, I thought the designs were very formal, so I enclosed the main gem with a half-circumference of melee diamonds to make it easy to use everyday.
The diamonds that connect from the curved V-shaped to a straight line look like a crown.
In other words, it's Princess Grandidierite wearing a diamond crown.
Looking from the other side it looks like a crown.
Looking from the other side, doesn't it look like you're wearing a melee diamond crown?
The sparkling sparkle is beautiful! (I'm sorry for the miso for the moment!)
