First Jewelry 01 for Teenagers
Hello.
This is KELEN.
Do you know the term "first jewelry"?
First jewelry is called the jewelry that is given (buyed) for the first time in your life. In some literature, baby rings that are given to celebrate a baby's birth are called first jewelry, but I call first jewelry the first jewelry, not the baby rings that are given to celebrate a baby's birth, but the jewelry that you only wear when you are around the age of the baby.
When will girls wear first jewelry?
I'm sure there are many people who wear it in their late teens.
I myself received the first jewelry from my parents to celebrate my entrance to high school.
It was a brooch with a butterfly motif and was made of 18K gold. Apparently they chose a simple one without stones because it would make them mature if they had gems.
The feather pattern is expressed in an openwork carving and is very delicately crafted.
The brooch is very memorable and is a treasure that I still love.
Today I'd like to introduce
This is a request for first jewelry to celebrate the young lady's high school entrance and birthday celebration.
When making unique jewelry for custom-made items, we will be able to share the sessions with the client about not only the color, material, etc., but also the memories and wishes of the recipient, and the design image that leads to the recipient's design.
The client this time was a young lady's mother wearing first jewelry, and it was revealed during the session that she was raised very carefully. And what really struck me was that her mother believed in the realization of the young lady's dreams and was very excited for her to take off towards her dreams. I felt a little bit of the warmth of my mother's love and the loneliness of her being able to fly away from her own body at the same time.
From the episodes I learned from a session with my mother,
The theme of this first jewelry was "Love and Departure."
The girl I wear is 15 years old.
The birth month is February.
They said they wanted to incorporate birthstones as well,
The February birthstone, amethyst, will also be incorporated into the design.
A design that suits a 15 year old girl
You can't be grown-up,
However, even if you are too conscious of cuteness, it won't become a jewelry that you can wear forever.
Simplicity is necessary to balance two conflicting conditions.
I will create a worldview by moving my hands.
A design that suits a 15 year old girl
I thought that the only thing I could do is "heart" that exudes cuteness and love with the classic jewelry motif.
Because it is a classic, heart jewelry is known all over the world.
The heart I create is the love that comes from the only mother in the world to the young lady.
We will fill the design with a certain meaning.
When I move my hands, my mind is focused on creating a worldview.
My mother feels a little lonely and looks forward to her departure.
The lady's journey towards her dreams
Petals dancing in the wind?
No, it has a more flowing feel than the petals.
it is,
Something that feels the flow.
It has a round shape.
Is it like this?
Oh yeah, it's like this.
How about making this a heart? ?
oh! Isn't it okay?
This twirl look is used as jewelry,
I think the stones are amethyst and diamonds.
Where should I put the stones? ?
Should I make it gradation along the flow?
Yes, it feels good.
The gradation of amethyst and diamonds is a colour that can be used by adults, so it's a great balance with the heart motif.
The client's mother also liked it.
Now we'll start production.
Next time I will let you know what the prototype was made.
