Sketch Day 002

There’s a boulder opal I deeply love—for its color, its luster, and its natural form.

Inspired by it, I drew this quick sketch.

The pendant resembles a yacht drifting offshore.
Watching yachts from the coastline, they always seemed so graceful…
Until I actually got on one and discovered it’s an intense sport—hello, muscle soreness.

This design captures that distant admiration, not the physical reality.

The bail is still too simple, and the diamond pavé settings need refining.
The overall balance could use more elegance too...
But let’s forgive the rough edges—it was a spontaneous sketch.
