Sketch Day 004

Blue Bird

This sketch was drawn while imagining a blue bird gracefully flying through paradise.

At the center sits an almond-shaped pearl,
surrounded by baguette-cut sapphires and diamonds arranged like delicate wings.

“Do pearls like this even exist?”
“How would I even set these stones when each one is a different size and shape?”
I found myself laughing as I asked these questions aloud.

But maybe that kind of impossibility is just right.
After all, the mere fact that beautiful gemstones exist in this world is already a miracle.

I feel like the blue bird is always flying nearby.
Just out of sight—but never far.
